A Brief Word on Communication
Welcome to RPG Anywhere, a sprawling enterprise of exactly one human being with approximately seventeen competing personalities, the attention span of a caffeinated squirrel, and a deep, abiding love for tabletop RPGs.
You might have noticed there's no contact form here. This is not an oversight. This is strategic avoidance of email, that ancient and terrible technology that pretends to be helpful but actually just sits there accumulating messages like a dragon hoarding gold, except less organized and with more spam about cryptocurrency.
The problem with email, you see, is that it requires:
- A mail server (which I have - but dont want to figure out how to connect to)
- Regular checking (which I would forget to do)
- The ability to remember where I put important messages (impossible)
- Not getting distracted by seventeen other things before responding (see: ADHD, above)
The Actual Answer
Discord. Just... Discord.
It's where I live. It's where I work. It's where I accidentally spend three hours debating the relative merits of different dice-rolling algorithms when I was supposed to be doing literally anything else.
(Where I'm probably online right now, overthinking something)
Why Discord?
✓ Real-time responses (when I'm not hyperfocusing on whatever random thing is on my mind)
✓ I actually check it (compulsively, even)
✓ No mail server required
✓ You can see if I'm online and probably procrastinating
✓ Built-in dice rolling commands (obviously important)
✓ Thread-based conversations mean I can't lose your message in my inbox
